Yatima Hope CBO is a registered Community Based Organisation operating within Nyalenda B area, Kisumu slums, in Kenya, serving the needs of children, adolescents and young women who have been made vulnerable both directly and indirectly due to the devastation of HIV. Further, Yatima offers a safe space to sleep for boys from the streets in our own rescue shelter.

We aspire and strive to empower families to support children and adolescents reach their highest potential both physically, emotionally, socially and economically. This we do through deliberately tailored programs that enhance talent exploration and entrepreneurship culture nurturing. Through our interventions, we support the people of Nyalenda to live self-dependently – we work from the community for the community.
